Welcome to Gizmo’s Snack Shack. By browsing our website, placing an order, or purchasing products from us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
We want shopping for your pets to be simple, safe and enjoyable. Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.
1. About Us
Gizmo’s Snack Shack is a pet food, treats, accessories and pet-care retailer operating in South Africa.
Gizmo’s Snack Shack operates under Mazanza, our registered umbrella business.
Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “Gizmo’s Snack Shack”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Gizmo’s Snack Shack and/or Mazanza, where applicable.
2. Products
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, prices and information for all products displayed on our website.
Actual product packaging, colours, sizes or appearance may differ slightly from photographs displayed online, particularly where manufacturers change their packaging.
Product availability is subject to stock on hand and supplier availability.
We reserve the right to add, remove or change products without prior notice.
3. Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that prices displayed on our website are correct. However, mistakes may occasionally occur.
4. Orders
Placing an order does not automatically guarantee that the product is available.
An order is considered accepted once we have confirmed the order and, where applicable, received or confirmed payment.
If an ordered item becomes unavailable, we will contact you to discuss an alternative, refund, credit or other suitable solution.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, stock shortages or incorrect product information.
5. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available by Gizmo’s Snack Shack.
Orders requiring payment before fulfilment will only be processed once payment has been successfully received or confirmed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied when placing an order is correct.
6. Collection & Delivery
Collection and delivery options will depend on the customer's location, product availability and the delivery services available at the time of ordering.
Any estimated delivery time provided is an estimate and cannot always be guaranteed.
Delays caused by couriers, suppliers, weather, public holidays, load shedding, road conditions or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occur.
Customers are responsible for providing the correct delivery address and contact information.
Additional delivery charges may apply if an order needs to be redirected or redelivered because incorrect information was supplied.
7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
We want you and your pets to be happy with your purchase.
If you receive an incorrect, damaged, defective or unsuitable product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after receiving your order.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or limit any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
8. Pet Food, Treats & Supplements
Pet food, treats and supplements should always be used according to the manufacturer's instructions and should be appropriate for your pet's species, age, size and individual requirements.
Product descriptions and information provided on our website are intended as general information and should not be regarded as veterinary advice.
If your pet has a medical condition, food allergy, intolerance or special dietary requirement, please consult your veterinarian before introducing a new food, treat or supplement.
If your pet experiences an unexpected or adverse reaction to a product, discontinue use and seek appropriate veterinary advice.
9. Product Information
Where product information is supplied by manufacturers, distributors or suppliers, we make reasonable efforts to reproduce that information accurately.
Ingredients, formulations, packaging and manufacturer instructions may change from time to time. Customers should therefore check the product packaging before use, particularly where a pet has allergies or special dietary requirements.
10. Promotions & Special Offers
Promotional prices, discount codes, giveaways and special offers may be subject to additional terms, expiry dates and stock availability.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, promotions cannot necessarily be combined with other discounts or offers.

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.
Website content, including our branding, graphics, photographs, text and designs, may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission where such content belongs to Gizmo’s Snack Shack or Mazanza.
